Job Description
Prime Team Partners is currently looking for multiple candidates to support a large project for the Affordable Care Act: Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) with a focus on Codes 834 and 820. The Business Analyst will be a part of a team supporting all phases of the design, development and implementation of an Enrollment Resolution and Reconciliation process for health insurance exchanges.
Responsibilities of the EDI Analyst
· Participate in design sessions
· Report on project progress
· Identify potential risks and issues
· Perform troubleshooting and resolve errors in 834 and 820 transactions for health insurance exchanges
· Perform Root Cause Analysis
· Identify and solve customer information and processing problems
· Analyze discrepancies in the eligibility reconciliation process for multiple stakeholders
· Perform continuous process improvement of the reconciliation process
· Provide content surrounding the transactions and the reconciliation process
- Participate in all phases of testing (perform testing, document issues)
· Collaborate with technical and development teams to resolve performance issues
· Assist in end user training and support
Qualifications of the EDI Analyst
· Bachelor's Degree
· Previous experience in a Business Analysis/Data Analysis role supporting the Affordable Care Act
· Previous experience with enrollment transactions, premium payment transactions, reconciliation of enrollment transactions. Specific skills: 834 and 820 transactions
· Knowledge in applying triage, research, collaboration, and technical knowledge to resolve transaction and processing issues
· Knowledge of supporting technology: workflow management systems and case management software
- Knowledge of X12 standards development processes
· Strong skills with Microsoft Word and Excel and strong communication skills
